I'm chilled to the bone right now. I don't know what possesses offices to keep the A/C pumpin in February. I'm going to go get some Earl Grey and try to shake it off.

Jason and I recently went down to Cincy to have dinner at this Mexican place called Nada. Their food is incredible. I'd show you photos of it, but taking pictures was the last thing on my mind when it came out. I do have some photos of the decor though. It's cozy. They play QOTSA songs on their playlists. Their food is the jam. They have Prickly Pear Margaritas. Need I say more?

Today is going to be even better than yesterday. I get off at 4, get to close at the deli with Jason. I had Panera's Mediteranean veggie sammy and it's the jam. I get paid tomorrow. I moved over all our music onto the external HD to free up space for pro-tools. Stoked doesn't even start to describe it.


Oh and Jason is learning to play his banjo bit by bit which is adorable.

This has been a stellar week for me. I have been getting a lot done. I feel productive and now I want to have fun this weekend. I am smiling bigtime for the following things:

-My mailbox blowin up
-Saturday nite
-That spring is around the corner

-Rza and the whiskey gingerale incident this morning (she's okay btw)

Everybodys' Workin For The Weekend

I am working all weekend. Between these two jobs I have not had a day off in like 3 or 4 weeks. I'm just bitching. It could be worse...


My ebay addiction is slowly but surely steamrolling through my current disposeable income. I did get some rad stuff though. Who wants to come over and watch the Planet Earth series? I'll make snacks.



I have a few photos from the white party for Diane's birthday, but I haven't had a chance to put them online yet. I wanted to get a shot of Brett's impromptu, earring-clad Goat, but my camera died pretty early on. That reminds me. I need to charge my camera.

We have the house to ourselves this weekend, since Brett and Evan are in Chicago (lucky bastards!). I wanna go to Kumas!!!

Just Because We Use Cheats, Doesn't Mean We're Not Smart

I paid up my ebay puchases yesterday and now I await with baited breath, our new external harddrive.





This baby is gonna house the files for pro-tools and make recording Power Nap stuff a breeze. Get ready for all the ideas I've been kicking around in my head to come to fruition. It's about to be a musically productive pre-spring. I cannot wait!


In other news, work,(or works I should say)have been occupying my time for the last few months. Work, sleep, repeat. Tough times with good paychecks. I been feeling a little down and out about it, but it seems to be easing up. I'm thinkin it's high time for a little vacation. Perhaps Chicago? Philly? God, I could do with some of this;
